Indian Computer Institute Association (ICIA) is a Research and Development
Center making Body aimed at popularizing the use of Information Technology in general and strengthening Information Technology throughout the academic and commercial communities in India.
Any Government/Government aided Institutions/Organizations can become a member of ICIA. Non-Profit Organizations operating for more than 3 years can also apply form membership. However, the membership of these organizations is subject to certain terms and conditions.
ICIA membership is ABSOLUTELY FREE.
ICIA is supported by the various State Governments of India and foreign organizations.

Can Individuals become members of ICIA? No, Only Organizations/Institutions can become members of ICIA. 7. Can autonomous Government Institutions become member of ICIA? Yes, autonomous Government Institutions can become members of ICIA. 8. Can member Institutions get any Journal/Magazines of their choice? The journals / Magazines are subscribed by ICIA based only on the recommendations of the Executive Panel of ICIA. The Member Institutions can select up to ten journals from the list provided by ICIA. The Member Institutions, however, can suggest Magazines and Journals and this will be reviewed by the Executive Panel of ICIA. 9. Will ICIA fund seminars/conferences conducted by Member Institutions on their own? ICIA shall not fund any independent seminars conducted by Member Institutions. But ICIA will definitely take into consideration any request from Member Institutions to conduct seminars in their organisation. 10. Is there any limit on the fund allocation to individual member institutions? Yes, Each request for Grant from Member Institution will be scrutinised by an Expert Panel from ICIA and based on the recommendation made by the Panel, funds will be allocated. 11. Is there any special fee for becoming an Executive member? The Executive membership is subject to certain Eligibility conditions and is at the discretion of the Board. There is NO FEE for becoming an Executive Member. 12. Where does ICIA get its funds from? ICIA is Supported by various State Governments in India, Educational Institutions and other Organizations. Support Facilities are offered FREE only for Member Institutions of ICIA. 16. Can any company become a Supplier? Yes, but subject to the terms and conditions specified by ICIA. 17. Does the Support Center work 24 hours? ICIA Support center can be contacted on any working days from 9.30 AM. to 5.30 PM. and all the queries will be answered in 24 hours time. 18. Will the support center be able to handle any queries in any platform? Yes, Highly Qualified and Experienced Professionals from all software and hardware platforms are available to answer your queries. 19. Can ICIA depute technical staff to the Institution if needed? No, ICIA at present will not entertain any personalised support to any particular member Institution.
